The Mask of the Gorilla (original title Le Gorille vous salue bien ("The Gorilla salute you")) is a 1958 French spy movie directed by Bernard Borderie and starring Lino Ventura as Géo Paquet aka "The Gorilla", an agent of DST (French counterespionage agency) who pretends to be a criminal in order to infiltrate a spy ring. The film was followed by two sequels, Gorilla's Waltz (La valse du gorille) (1959) and The Deadly Decoy (Le gorille a mordu l'archevêque) (1962) with Roger Hanin in the role of "The Gorilla".
The following weapons were used in the film The Mask of the Gorilla (Le Gorille vous salue bien):
Walther P38 pistols are seen in hands of several characters, including Casa (Robert Manuel), a petty criminal and "The Gorilla"'s old friend, and DST agent Berthier (Yves Barsacq).
Popaul (François Darbon), another one of Veslot's henchmen, carries a pistol in one scene. It is seen briefly and unclear but the general shape allows to make a guess that it's a Frommer Stop.
Unidentified revolver
In one scene Chaboute (Marie Sabouret) fires a revolver. It is seen very briefly and only from the barrel.
