Makarov (1993)

Makarov is a 1993 Russian thriller directed by Vladimir Khotinenko (The Priest) and starring Sergey Makovetskiy as Aleksandr Makarov, a talented poet who illegally purchases a Makarov pistol. Soon, the poet finds out that the pistol has a strange power over his mind and behavior.

In the scene where Aleksandr Makarov (Sergey Makovetskiy) visits a militsia (police) shooting range, a Stechkin APS is used to fire at targets.
Reck Agent
In one scene, Savely Funtov (Sergei Parshin) shows a snub nose revolver to Aleksandr Makarov. Funtov calls it as "a gun that can blow a head into pieces", but in reality the revolver appears to be a gas-firing Reck Agent. Such guns are often seen in Russian movies filmed in the 1990s.
