Mahershala Ali (full name: Mahershalalhashbaz Ali) is an American actor who has appeared in roles in such series as House of Cards, Luke Cage and True Detective in addition to such films as Predators, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Free State of Jones, two Hunger Games films, Moonlight, and Green Book, the latter two roles for which he received Academy Awards for Best Supporting Actor.
