The Last Battle (Russian title Posledniy boy , Ukrainian title Ostanniy biy ) is a 2019 (filmed 2018) Ukrainian Russian-language war mini-series. In June 1941 a Soviet experimental tank is on the way to the testing ground near Brest. When the tankers get news about the German invasion, they take the fight.

Nagant M1895
The commander of the tank Lt. Platov (Mikhail Khmurov ) carries a Nagant M1895 revolver. In one scene he gives his revolver to engineer Igor Runge (Igor Petrusenko ). Nagants are also used by sailor Yashka (Vladimir Gorislavets ), the commander of German saboteurs (Sergey Siplivyy), the guard on the tank factory Pyatov (Artyom Fedotov), the commander of village volunteers (Aleksandr Spirin), village girl Alesya (Anastasiya Ivanova), and a Militsioner (Artem Poddubnyak). Nagants of both pre- and post-1930 versions are seen, and they often switch to each other due to numerous continuity errors.

Unidentified revolver
When the guard on the tank factory Pyatov (Artyom Fedotov) carries his revolver in holster, it is not a Nagant but some different revolver. Only the small part of the grip and the lanyard ring are seen.

TT-33
The secretary of the town party committee Gordeladze (Fyodor Olkhovskiy) carries a TT-33 . His pistol has brown grips that are common for 1939-40 and 1945 produced TTs. A TT is also used by one of the German saboteurs (Sebastyan Anton).

Many German soldiers are armed with Karabiner 98k rifles. There are both early and late versions, some with hooded front sights that didn't exist in 1941. Captured Kar 98k rifles are seen in hands of Kol'ka (Evgeniy Lamakh), Alesya (Anastasiya Ivanova) and Kol'ka's mother (Olesya Ostrovska).

Unidentified Mauser Rifles
Some German soldiers are armed with Mauser rifles of unclear models.

The shape of the front sight with the protecting "ears" is common for Czech rifles and allows to guess that this is a Gewehr 33/40 (as the sling is attached to the side, not below the stock, this must be a German version of the Czech vz.16/33) but it's hard to say for sure.

2.8 cm sPzB 41
The German unit use two 2.8 cm sPzB 41 anti-tank guns against the Soviet tank (according to the plot, there were four such guns but only two props are on screen). These are modern replicas, made by the historical reenactment club. The guns are incorrectly called "76 mm".

The German unit uses a light armored car. It is claimed to be a made for movie vehicle that doesn't imitate any particular model but rather looks like a generic Wehrmacht armored car. This vehicle is seen in several productions of late 2010s.
