The Imitation Game Alan Turing: The Enigma by Andrew Hodges, with Moore taking the liberty of straying far from historical reality. The film received an Oscar in the Best Adapted Screenplay category. There were a further seven nominations in the categories: Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor (Benedict Cumberbatch ), Best Supporting Actress (Keira Knightley ), Best Production Design, Best Original Score and Best Film Editing.
