Dr. Gregory House (Hugh Laurie) is a maverick but talented medical doctor at Princeton, New Jersey's fictional Princeton Plainsboro Teaching Hospital (actually filmed in Century City, Los Angeles) who specializes in determining the cause of mysterious illnesses.
