- Haitian gang members including Kiko Ellsworth as "Blondie Dreads" in Bad Boys II
- Pierce Brosnan as James Bond, his teammates, and North Korean soldiers in Die Another Day
The AKS-74U assault carbine has appeared as usable in the following video games:
- Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty has guards armed with them, and in a substantial portion of the game it is usable.
