SL8

I'm pretty sure it's an SL8 going by the thumbhole stock, but that could be a future-ish addition to a regular G36. --Joffeloff (talk) 09:26, 20 December 2015 (EST)

I have no idea what this bullpup rifle is based on, if anything. It seems odd to me that they would build a prop from scratch and make it so.. conventional.. so following logic it is probably a dressed-up bullpup rifle of some sort. But which? It reminds me most of a Tavor, but if it is one, it is quite heavily dressed up. --Joffeloff (talk) 09:26, 20 December 2015 (EST)

Considering that The Expanse series (the books atleast) are fairly realistic, i wouldn't say it's so strange that they made the weapon look rather conventional (although there's doesn't appear to be any type of sight on it, unless that orange thing is the sight) Anyhow, parts of it kinds reminds me an SA80--AnActualAK47 (talk) 10:15, 20 December 2015 (EST)
This is an airsoft rifle called a UPS UAR:

These were previously used in another SyFy series that I can't remember the name of and doesn't have a page on here yet. As this isn;t a real gun, i will make a section for it on the Air Guns page. --commando552 (talk) 11:24, 20 December 2015 (EST)

Lots of random guns here, I'm not going to bother since (spoilers, heh) the ship they were on was blown up along with the character in the first episode. --Joffeloff (talk) 09:26, 20 December 2015 (EST)

bullet velocity

While this is from the second book, i might as well ask here. In that book, in the very beginning when Bob and her crew gets owned by that protowhatever thing, she says something about firing her AR with rounds going something around 1000 m/s. I always thought that was kinda strange since there's nothing special about that velocity, especially since they're on one of Mars moons where there's no air and the gravity pull isn't as strong. Shouldn't those rounds go faster?--AnActualAK47 (talk) 10:12, 20 December 2015 (EST)
