I am a Veteran of the US Navy / Aviation Ordinance. My knowledge of military weapons, is a REALLY long story! I am also retired from being injured on duty from LAPD after 21 years, so I sit here online with a lot of extra time on my hands and I enjoy talking about things that I know about that a lot of people do not know about. I am proud of my experiences in life and even I can't believe some of the things I have been through. My Mother used to say: "Jimmy, you should write a book" which would be followed by me telling her that nobody would care. Hehehe. But then the internet came to be and I realized that there are lots of people that like to know about things that I know about. If it is things that I am allowed to talk about, and I think when it comes to weapons, it usually it's usually okay to talk about. If that Marine on YouTube can give step by step instructions on how to fire a stinger, then it must be okay for me to talk about weapons here. I would be glad to make occasional contributions of facts or additions to anything here or answer any questions that anyone has if it's something that I know about. I am impressed at how much trouble someone went up to to build this site. I would feel good if I can contribute facts for historical reasons so people will always be able to research and learn about things for historical accuracy. All my life, whenever I would see military or police movies, I always look for accurate things relating to weapons. When I see things that are not right, I always wonder if they could not find someone that knew what the correct things were, just didn't care or could not get the correct things. Well, I think that I have written enough here now and wrote things that is better than "I must have 25 words". :)
