Convoy

Convoy is a 1978 trucker film directed by Sam Peckinpah and stars Kris Kristofferson as a renegade truck driver who butts heads with a corrupt sheriff (Ernest Borgnine). It was one of the last films directed by Peckinpah before his death in 1984, although at this point Peckinpah had a deep struggle with drug addiction, leading to much of the film was being actually directed by his friend and Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid star James Coburn.

Handguns
Star Model B
Sherriff Lyle Wallace (Ernest Borgnine) carries a Star Model B as his sidearm. Later, he tries to use it during a fight in a diner.
Smith & Wesson Model 15
Two police officers who came to the aid of Lyle during a fight in a diner, armed Smith & Wesson Model 15 revolvers. Later some troopers are armed with Smith & Wesson Model 15s.
Shotguns
Ithaca 37
Ithaca 37s are also used by law enforcement.
Winchester Model 1912
Several Winchester Model 1912 shotguns appears in the police cars. Later five M1912 shotguns seen at the front in the prison.
Assault rifles
M16A1
State troopers and National Guard are armed with the M16A1s as they open fire on the truck driven by Martin "Rubber Duck" Penwald (Kris Kristofferson).
Machine guns
M60 machine gun
The M60 machine gun mounted atop an M42 Duster is seen being fired by Sheriff "Dirty Lyle" Wallace (Ernest Borgnine).
Bofors 40 mm
M42 Duster Self-Propelled Anti-Aircraft Gun is armed with twin Bofors L/60 M2A1.
