Another Stakeout is the 1993 sequel to the 1987 action comedy Stakeout. John Badham returned as director for this film, which finds Seattle detectives Chris Lecce (Richard Dreyfuss) and Bill Reimers (Emilio Estevez) along with an ambitious district attorney (Rosie O'Donnell) assigned to a stakeout to find out the location of a mob witness.
The following weapons were used in the film Another Stakeout:
Detective Chris Lecce (Richard Dreyfuss) carries a Smith & Wesson Model 19 with a 3" barrel for the majority of the film. This snub nose revolver also appears to be carried by several agents protecting a witness at the film's beginning.
Pistols
Glock 19
Detective Bill Reimers (Emilio Estevez) carries a Glock 19 as his sidearm at the film's beginning. This pistol also is seen in the hands of Luella Delano (Cathy Moriarty). After losing his issued Glock 19, he switches to a two-tone version.
Taurus PT92
Seattle Detective Wills (Blu Mankuma) mistakenly fires on Reimers and Lecce near the end of the film with his Taurus PT92. Later, Lecce picks up the pistol.
Smith & Wesson 915
Detective Steve Gilliam (Thomas Mitchell) uses what appears to be a Smith & Wesson 915 to mistakenly fire on Reimers and Lecce near the end of the film.
Detonics CombatMaster
Castellano pulls a Detonics CombatMaster when he holds Gina (Rosie O'Donnell) hostage.
SIG-Sauer P226
One of the agents protecting Luella Delano at the beginning of the film is seen drawing a SIG-Sauer P226.
Rifles
Knight's Armament Revolver Rifle (mock-up)
What appears to be a Knight's Armament Revolver Rifle is used by Tony Castellano (Miguel Ferrer). This rifle is actually a mock-up built on a Ruger Super Redhawk revolver that was fitted with a carbine length bull barrel, a bipod, and a black synthetic buttstock. The weapon was built by Felcan Enterprises, the movie's armorers, after director John Badham showed them a picture of the Knight's Armament Revolver rifle and requested that they acquire one for use in the movie. The weapon was not available to film armorers, so the gunsmiths at Felcan modified a Ruger Super Redhawk in order to satisfy the production's request. Since the real Knight's Revolver rifle also used a Ruger Super Redhawk as a base gun, this method for creating the mockup approximated the production method for the original weapon.
Although this Knight Revolver rifle mock-up was originally built for Another Stakeout, it would later be re-used on numerous productions filmed in Vancouver, including The Sentinel, Highlander (TV series), Supernatural, Psych and The X-Files.
