Bukit Kepong is a 1982 Malaysian war film based on the true story of the Bukit Kepong tragedy. The film chronicles the lives of Bukit Kepong police officers in their fight against Malayan Communist Party guerrillas after they stormed the police station before dawn during the Malayan Emergency 1948-1960. Jins Shamsuddin starred in the film as Bukit Kepong police sergeant, Jamil Mohd Shah. In August 27, 2015, this movie was re-released with in high-definition.

Enfield No. 2 Mk I*
The Enfield No. 2 Mk I* is the service revolver seen carried by every Federation of Malaya Police chief during the Malayan Emergency. In the film, the Enfield No. 2 Mk I* is used by Sergeant Jamil Mohd Shah (Jins Shamsuddin ) as his sidearm as well as used by the Bukit Kepong village chief. The Enfield No.2 Mk I* was also seen in the hands of MCP lieutenant to execute their own comrades after they betrayed the cause.

Sten Mk V
The Sten Mk V is the standard submachine guns for Federation of Malaya Police and Police Jungle Squad troops in the film, most featured have the forward pistol grip removed. Also, it has been used by MCP forces.
