Omamori Himari
Omamori Himari (lit. Protective Charm Himari) is a Japanese Anime television mini-series based on the manga series written by Milan Matra. The story revolves about a boy whose life is turned around on his 16th birthday when a mysterious girl appears as his bodyguard against the demons that are trying to kill him. The twelve episodes of the limited series were broadcasted on Teletama between January 6 and March 24, 2010. The twelve episodes were subsequently re-broadcast on seven other networks in its entirety.
The following guns were used in the Anime Series:
Stechkin APS
The only firearm to appear in this series at the episode "The Cat's Feelings and the Magical Girl's Melancholy" (S1E07). Female demon hunter Kueso Jinguji uses a Stechkin APS as a last resort weapon when her magic fails to take down an opponent. It is loaded with anti-demon magic bullets and has a capacity of 20 rounds. Kueso's servant discourages her from using this weapon because it might cause trouble due to the gunshots and the scattered casings that might attract the police. After a fight with the female demon cat Himari, he persuaded Kueso to check the number of bullets left and they saw three rounds in the mag, meaning she fired 17 shots in the battle.
