The Arbiter (Arbitr)
|
The Arbiter (original title Arbitr) is a 1992 Russian detective thriller directed by Ivan Okhlobystin and starring himself as a rookie but ambitious Ugolovny Rozysk (criminal police) detective who hunts for a mysterious vigilante known as "The Arbiter".
The following weapons were used in the film The Arbiter (Arbitr):
Pistols
Luger P08
A Luger P08 is Andrei's (Ivan Okhlobystin) personal firearm. In one scene it is seen in hands of his wife Anna (Alyona Khmelnitskaya).
Walther P38
Another pistol, used by Andrei (Ivan Okhlobystin), is a Walther P38. During the shootout in abandoned workshop it switches from a Luger P08 and back again due to a continuity error. P38s are also used by Vladimir Ivanovich (Rolan Bykov) and "The Arbiter" (Aleksandr Solovyov).
Tokarev TT-33
During the shootout in abandoned workshop Vladimir Ivanovich's (Rolan Bykov) Walther P38 switches to a TT-33 in a continuity error. In the same scene "The Arbiter" (Aleksandr Solovyov) also carries a TT.
Mauser C96
During the shootout in abandoned workshop one of Andrei's men is armed with a Mauser C96.
Unidentified pocket pistol
Roma (Fyodor Bondarchuk) carries a pocket pistol as a backup weapon.
Submachine Guns
MP40

Shotguns

Assault Rifles
AKS-74U
A suppressed AKS-74U is used by "The Arbiter" (Aleksandr Solovyov) during the shootout in abandoned workshop. The suppressor appears to be not a mockup, as it is common in movies, but a real PBS.
AKM
An AKM is used by a criminal during the shootout with Andrei and Vladimir Ivanovich.
