Telefon is a 1977 Spy Thriller where Charles Bronson plays a sympathetic Soviet Major, Grigorij Borzov, who must come to America and locate and stop fifty Soviet sleeper spies who all infiltrated into American society and have been brainwashed into becoming killers when they hear certain 'trigger phrases'. The film was directed by Don Siegel, based on a screenplay written by Peter Hyams and Sterling Siliphant.
