Savage Beach is a 1993 action movie about a team of 3 Federal agents, Chris Cannon (Bruce Penhall), Mark Austin (Mark Barriere) and Becky Midnite (Suzi Simpson), who are suspended by corrupt official Dickson (Alan Abelew), for excessive force during a raid on a location of drug lord Santiago (Rodrigo Obregón).
With too much time on their hands, the three set off to find a gold treasure hidden by Confederate forces during the Civil War. This sets off a race for the treasure between the Federal agents and Santiago who chases them together with his female assassin Jewel Panther (Julie Strain) culminating in a finale in the Louisiana swamps.
The movie is directed by Christian Drew Sidaris, son of Andy Sidaris, as part of Andy’s “Bullets, Bombs and Babes” (a.k.a. “L.E.T.H.A.L. Ladies”) film series. These action movies are predominantly filmed on Hawaii and feature a cast mostly made up of Playmates in roles of secret agents. For further movies check the “See Also” section.
The following weapons can be seen in the movie Enemy Gold:
Both Santiago (Rodrigo Obregón) as well as his top assassin Jewel Panther (Julie Strain) carry and use a black Desert Eagle Mark I, distinguishable by the "teardrop" shape of its safety button.
Dan Wesson Model 15-VH
Mark Austin (Mark Barriere) carries a chrome Dan Wesson Model 15-VH. It is easily distinguished as a Dan Wesson revolver by the typical cylinder latch just ahead of the cylinder.
Taurus Model 85
Dickson (Alan Abelew), the federal agents’ bureau chief, carries a Taurus Model 85 as his side arm, most notably during the mission in the Louisiana swamps to recover the gold treasure.
Beretta 92FS
Federal agent Chris Cannon (Bruce Penhall) can be seen with a Beretta 92FS. In one scene, Becky Midnite (Suzi Simpson) takes the Beretta from him and holds him at gunpoint with it.
Davis P-32
Supervising federal agent Ava Noble (Tanquil Lisa Collins) carries an inox Davis P-32 with pearl grips. It might also be the P-380 version but for the sake of identification a P-32 is assumed.
Colt 1860 Army
In a flashback scene to the gold treasure being hidden during the American Civil War, a Confederate officer (Carl Weatherly) can be seen with a Colt 1860 Army defending himself against Indians.
Harrington & Richardson Model 733
Rip (Tom Abbott), a thug in the entourage of Santiago, carries a Harrington & Richardson Model 733. He is seen using it most prominently during the motorcycle chase in the Louisiana swamps.
Orion flare gun
An essential scene in any Sidaris movie: stuff being blown up with an 12 Gauge Orion flare gun. In this movie, Jewel Panther uses one on a gasoline storage shed.
Submachine Guns
Intratec TEC-22
An uncredited thug in Santiago’s gang uses an Intratec TEC-22 during the shootout with the federal agents at the countryside drug storage location.
Rifles
Norinco Type 56-1
During the shootout at the Louisiana swamps, both Jewel Panther as well as Slash (Ron Browning) use the Norinco Type 56-1 recognizable by the hooded front sight.
Enfield Pattern 1853
In several flashback scenes, both Confederate as well as Union soldiers are using the Enfield Pattern 1853 rifle during battles surrounding the burying of the gold treasure.
Shotguns
Winchester Model 1300 Defender
During the drug bust scene, an uncredited thug uses a Winchester Model 1300 Defender with pistol grip. Becky takes it from him and uses it during the same scene.
Colt Model 1878 (reproduction)
Rip is using what appears to be a Colt Model 1878. It is seen too brief for correct identification, but it is probably the same Colt shotgun used in other Andy Sidaris movies.
Miscellaneous
Barnett Wildcat crossbow
Agents Becky and Ava use the same Barnett Wildcat crossbow with pistol grip that shoots arrows with explosive tips. In one scene, Jewel Panthers picks it up for a few moments.
