Talk:Hero and the Terror
I think the unknown silver revolver is a S&W 66. According to the 627 page, they weren't in production until after the movie was released.--Funkychinaman (talk) 16:34, 29 March 2013 (EDT)
- This revolver is very bright, so I suppose that it's not a stainless steel but a nickel plated. In such case it can be a Model 27. But if it's steel then it must be Model 66. Greg-Z (talk) 16:43, 29 March 2013 (EDT)
- I doubt it'd a 27. According to the page, the barrels weren't shorter than 3.5 inches, and the barrel in the film looks shorter than that. --Funkychinaman (talk) 16:52, 29 March 2013 (EDT)
- A grip can be seen here:

Does any snub nose Mod.66 have such grip? All images of snubby 66s on its page has different grips. Greg-Z (talk) 16:59, 29 March 2013 (EDT)
- I suppose the barrel might be 3.5 inches. Grips are interchangeable though. Back to square one. --Funkychinaman (talk) 17:08, 29 March 2013 (EDT)
Unidentified revolvers
Robinson (Steve James) carries a revolver in several scenes. Due to its general outlook it can be a Smith & Wesson Model 19 Snub Nose but not for sure.
LAPD detectives and officers carry various revolvers.
