Dear Inspector (original title Tendre poulet) is a 1978 French detective movie directed by Philippe de Broca. Police commissioner Lise Tanquerelle (Annie Girardot) investigates a series of murders of politicians. Meanwhile she meets her old friend Antoine Lemercier (Philippe Noiret), and both try to make their personal life.

Smith & Wesson Model 36
Commissioneer Beretti (Guy Marchand) carries a snub nose revolver that appears to be Smith & Wesson Model 36. In the final scene Charmille (Hubert Deschamps) holds Beretti's revolver.
Unidentified revolver
Commissioner Lise Tanquerelle (Annie Girardot) carries a revolver. It is seen only in holster. The shape of the grip resembles the one of Colt Detective Special but it's hard to say for sure.
