S&W Model 30
I'm not sure but the revolver seems to look more like a Smith & Wesson Model 10HB than a Model 30. Greg-Z (talk) 10:49, 14 December 2014 (EST)
- I agree - The revolver looks bigger, too big for a Model 30. Plus the ejector rod socket comes almost to the end of the barrel, more like a 3" barreled K-frame rather than a 3" barreled J-frame. A 3" Model 10HB is a more likely candidate. StanTheMan (talk) 13:14, 14 December 2014 (EST)
Stevens Shotgun
Granted it might be the angle, but it seems to me the receiver in this image (especially at the rear) doesn't match up with the Stevens. Then again, not sure what else it could be though. I had leaned towards a classic Winchester, but I'm not sure that's right, either. StanTheMan (talk) 13:34, 14 December 2014 (EST)
Unknown Weapon on VHS Box
Came across the original VHS Box for this movie and, unless it's cropped weird, the weapon Lance is holding looks more like a 1860 Henry Rifle then a shotgun. Any thoughts (I could be wrong)?--SeanWolf 12:37, 7 June 2015 (EDT)
- That actually looks more like a shotgun than a rifle, given the clear large ejection port on the receiver (Most lever-actions don't have these) and how large both the barrel and mag tube are. I'd say it's a Winchester 1897 - Which I suggested was what was used in the film rather than a Stevens (see above). I admit the lack of the pump grip is odd, however.
