Amazing Stories was a television anthology series created by Steven Spielberg that aired on NBC from 1985 to 1987. The ambitious series premiered with great fanfare due to its high profile director and the series attracted several A-list directors to helm various episodes including Clint Eastwood, Joe Dante, Danny DeVito, Peter Hyams, Robert Zemeckis, and Martin Scorsese in addition to Spielberg himself.

Browning M2 Aircraft heavy machine guns are the primary armament of the B-17 Flying Fortress in Season 1's "The Mission" (S1E05), which was directed by Steven Spielberg and featured Kevin Costner and Kiefer Sutherland as part of a B-17 bomber crew who struggle to find a way to get their young gunner out of his ball turret before they crash land.

The MG42 is seen used by enemy forces as the men storm the beach in Season 1's "No Day At The Beach" (S1E14), which starred Charlie Sheen as a young US infantryman who are about to get their first taste of battle as they storm a beach in Italy.

Alamo Jobe (Kelly Reno) carries a Kentucky/Pennsylvania long rifle throughout "Alamo Jobe" (S1E03), a Season 1 episode based on story by Steven Spielberg that follows a young Texan fighting at the Battle of the Alamo who finds himself transported through time to modern day Texas.
Model 1766 French Charleville Infantry Musket
In "Alamo Jobe" (S1E03), the Charleville Musket is one of the firearms used by the defenders of the Alamo.

The M1 Garand is carried by most of the men in the unit including Casey (Charlie Sheen) in Season 1's "No Day At The Beach" (S1E14).
