Taken is a 2008 thriller starring Liam Neeson as Bryan Mills, a former CIA operative who discovers that his daughter has been kidnapped in Paris and must find her before she disappears into the sex trafficking trade. The film was directed by Pierre Morel (From Paris with Love) from a screenplay by Luc Besson and Robert Mark Kamen. Neeson would return as Mills in two sequels: 2012's Taken 2 and 2015's Taken 3.

When Bryan reveals that he has already found and unloaded the gun, Jean Claude tries to shoot him, and has the ammunition thrown in his face, while being chastised for not recognizing the weight difference between a loaded and unloaded gun after being behind a desk so long.
Anton (Radivoje Bukvic), one of the Albanian slavers in Paris uses a nickel plated M1911A1 to fire at Bryan Mills (Liam Neeson) after he steals a girl from the facility.
The bodyguard of Patrice St-Clair who fails to kill Bryan Mills (Liam Neeson) "quietly" is seen using a Glock 17. It is likely a rubber prop, since it is never fired and quickly thrown away.
When Bryan Mills (Liam Neeson) confronts the Albanian slavers in the apartment building, one of them tries to draw a Smith & Wesson 5906 from the small of his back, but is soon killed by Bryan.
