The Good Guys was a detective comedy series that aired for one season on the FOX network from 2010 to 2011. The series followed the adventures of Jack Bailey (Colin Hanks), a by-the-book police detective who finds he is partnered with Dan Stark (Bradley Whitford), an old school cop. The series was created by Matt Nix, who also created the series Burn Notice.
The following weapons were used in the television series The Good Guys:
Det. Dan Stark (Bradley Whitford) carries a Taurus PT92 as his sidearm throughout the series. Jack Bailey (Colin Hanks) attempts to dual wield Stark's Taurus along with his Smith & Wesson with poor results in "Pilot" (S1E01). Later in the episode, Pedro (Andrew Divoff) dual-wields Taurus PT92 pistols with much better results.
What is supposed to be a stainless Taurus PT92 is also used by Keith Williams (Mykel Shannon Jenkins) in "Small Rooms" (S1E06). It appears to be a non-gun however. In in "$3.52" (S1E04), another stainless PT92 appears in the hands of Mikkel (David Dayan Fisher). Two (one stainless, one blued) are also seen used by Brody (Jake Busey) in "Dan on the Run" (S1E13).
Det. Jack Bailey (Colin Hanks) carries as his sidearm throughout the series a two-tone Smith & Wesson .45 CQB, which is a Performance Center variant of the Smith & Wesson 4563 that was released only in 1998.
In "The Dim Knight" (S1E04), the Chinese assassin buys 3 SIG-Sauer P220 pistols from a gun dealer and wields two akimbo in the final shootout. He gives the third 220 to his translator.
A SIG-Sauer P226 is the sidearm carried by Jack's former partner, George Jenkins (Chris Klein) in the finale "Partners." Detective Hodges also carries it as his sidearm.
The female assassin known as "The Cleaner" (Monet Mazur) uses a pair of suppressed SIG-Sauer P229 pistols as her main weapons in the episode "The Whistleblower."
A Glock 17 is pulled by Parker (Brian Tee), one of the kidnappers to hold Andy Davis (Ethan Suplee) at gunpoint at the climax of the episode "Dan on the Run."
A stainless Desert Eagle is used by Eric Williams (Lee Thompson Young) when he kidnaps Liz Traynor's mother in the episode "Small Rooms." Another one is used by Asher (Carlo Rota) in "Supercops".
In the pilot episode, Best Assassin (Leslie Duane Snyder) uses engraved Colt Commander's akimbo. Also used by Senator Buddy (Ray Wise) in the episode "Common Enemies" to hold Liz Traynor hostage.
Det. Dan Stark's former partner, Frank Savage (Gary Cole) carries a Smith & Wesson Model 29 as his sidearm when he was in active duty. He calls the gun "Stella," and uses her again in "Dan on the Run" (S1E13) and the series finale "Partners" (S1E20).
Julius (RonReaco Lee) uses what appears to be a Winchester Model 1897 shotgun when confronted by Pedro (Andrew Divoff) while in the pawn shop in the pilot. The shotgun appears to be a Norinco Model 97W, a clone of Winchester 1897's precursor.

Imported by IAC, this is many times described to be a Chinese clone of the Winchester Model 1897 due to the Chinese literature, however it is actually a clone of the ill fated Winchester Model 1893 pump shotgun, the immediate pre-cursor to the Winchester Model 1897. The Model 1893 was designed to fire only the lower power black powder cartridges, but came at the introduction of the Smokeless Powder rounds for the 12 gauge shotgun. This model was largely recalled by Winchester and a new model 1897 models were supplied to owners, free of charge.Error creating thumbnail: File missingIn the pilot episode, Julius (RonReaco Lee) uses what appears to be a Winchester Model 1897 when confronted by Pedro (Andrew Divoff) while in the pawn shop.
