I'm a Navy brat/country boy from Texas. Rifleman, target shooter, hunter. Amateur gunsmith (don't have the equipment to be a full-on gunsmith) I love Winchesters and study them in my free time. Always on the lookout for Winchesters used in movies. I'm looking to make a correction the Bolt rifle used in "Short Circuit", it wasn't a Rem 700, its a Model 70 Winchester, as evidenced by the lack of a "washer" style recoil lug, classic Winchester pattern checkering, the black stock reinforcement in the receiver area of the stock and several other proofs of identity. I have one just like it....
