The Smith & Wesson 442 returns as the sidearm of Captain Tobias Gregson (Aidan Quinn) in the season.
Smith & Wesson Model 681
A Smith & Wesson Model 681 is used in the revolver wheel, changing from the Taurus Model 689 in the opening sequence. It makes a return since the opening sequence is used again in the third season.
Taurus Model 689
Taurus Model 689 revolvers are used in the opening sequence of Elementary in a revolver wheel. Like the Model 681, it makes a return since the opening sequence is used again in the third season.
Assault Rifles
Colt Law Enforcement Carbine
A Colt Law Enforcement Carbine is seen in an image montage in the NYPD precient in "Bella". Some of the Emergency Services Unit operators use them near the end of "End of Watch" and in "The Illustrious Client". A few Rocklin County SWAT officers are armed with the LE carbine in the middle of "The Female of the Species".
Colt Model 933
The Emergency Services Unit uses the Colt Model 933 as their main assault rifle, first seen in "The Five Orange Pipz". A Rocklin County SWAT officer is seen with it in the middle of "The Female of the Species".
Colt M16A2
A few Colt M16A2s are seen in an image montage in the NYPD precient in "Bella".
