Colt Python

That is definitely not a Python. Looks like some sort of starter pistol to me. --Charon68 (talk) 21:45, 21 October 2014 (EDT)

Holsters

After the Episodes from NCIS, all the New Orleans agents seem to have switched to SOB holsters for their guns. Anyone know what holster they are using? And why they all seem to use one?--Westernman1987 (talk) 18:49, 25 October 2014 (EDT)

They might be Galcos. I personally would not use an SOB holster, mainly due to the possiblity of spinal injuries if you fell on it. I also don't think they conceal very well, and you reall aren't as in control of your weapon as ypu should be. just my opinion.--Tecolote (talk) 21:25, 25 October 2014 (EDT)

Episode 7 SIG-Sauer

In a continuity error in the episode "Watch Over Me" (S1E07) Pride fires a railed SIG-Sauer instead of his standard SIG-Sauer P228. I think it is a SIG-Sauer P228R or some other railed compact SIG but not sure, someone please help confirm. --Gunfan2818 (talk

  • It's railed. We'll go with the former that it's a P228R. The scene there didn't give enough details to check the slide for a good look. Ominae (talk) 02:07, 19 November 2014 (EST)

How about a P229R? The latest versions have the full slide serrations now, and they are a lot more common than a 228R.--Tecolote (talk) 19:19, 9 January 2015 (EST)

Model 10

The S&W Model 10 is techinally not a Model 10. That photo shows a prewar Military & Police;note the half moon front sight, large ejector rod knob, and pre Magna stocks and compare with the Model 10 refence photo. S&W didn't begin using model numbers until 1957. IIRC,that episode involved a 1947 killing, and that particular gun fits in prefectly;kudos to the armorer.--Tecolote (talk) 19:34, 9 January 2015 (EST)

By the looks of the frame its some sort of 1911 model maybe some compact version of it.--Balin21 (talk) 08:36, 21 November 2014 (EST)
