G.I. Samurai

G.I. Samurai (戦国自衛隊 Sengoku jieitai (Time Slip) and Sengoku Self Defense Force?) is a 1979 Japanese adventure movie. This film was remade as Samurai Commando: Mission 1549 at 2005.
The following weapons were used in the film G.I. Samurai:
M1911A1
Lt. Yoshiaki Iba's (Shin'ichi Chiba) sidearm is the M1911A1.
Howa Type 64
The Howa Type 64 is the main weapon of the most jsdf members. Lt. Yoshiaki Iba (Shin'ichi Chiba) use it at the one scene.
Howa M300
One jsdf member uses the Howa M300. At the film climax this rifle can be seen in the hands of Yoshiaki Iba (Shin'ichi Chiba).
Browning M2 Heavy Barrel
The M3A1 Halftrack that the JSDF uses has a Browning M2 Heavy Barrel mounted on it. Lt. Yoshiaki Iba (Shin'ichi Chiba) and other JSDF members fire it throughout the film. Early in the film, Nagao Kagetora (Isao Natsuyagi) also fires it, reacting with amusement at the full automatic fire.
Sumitomo NTK-62
one jsdf car was equiped by the Sumitomo NTK-62. Lt. Yoshiaki Iba (Shin'ichi Chiba) and other jsdf members fires it.

M72 LAW
jsdf members uses a few M72 LAW.
M3A1 "Grease Gun"
Several JSDF members (including Lt. Yoshiaki Iba) use the M3A1 "Grease Gun". The M3A1 was actually standard issue for the JSDF, being popular as a personal defense weapons with tank crews until the introduction of the Minebea M-9.
Tanegashima
Ashigaru fires tanegashimas rifles at the one scene.
Mk 2 hand grenade
Mk 2 hand grenade was used by a few jsdf members, include Lt. Yoshiaki Iba.
