Brake is an independent 2012 thriller film directed by Gabe Torres, written by Timothy Mannion, and starring Stephen Dorff as Jeremy Reins, a US Secret Service agent who is held captive in the trunk of a car and endures mental and physical torture as terrorists attempt to extract information for their plot against the President of the United States.
The following weapons were used in the film Brake:
SIG-Sauer P229R
Special Agent Jeremy Reins (Stephen Dorff) correctly is seen wielding a SIG-Sauer P229R pistol that he stole from Special Agent Henry Shaw, as the P229 is the standard-issue sidearm of the Secret Service. It is most likely chambered in 9mm rather than the correct .357 SIG, but we can't be sure of this as the weapon is not seen being loaded or fired.
It is revealed as a P229R, not a P226R, when a good side-shot of the weapon shows both the shorter slide and the accessory rail.
