Current version of the FAMAS rifle, standard rifle for the French Navy (the French Army still uses the FAMAS F1 as the their main service rifle). The G1 (which never saw widespread production) can be distinguished by its enlarged trigger-guard, an improved foregrip, and straight 25 round magazine, while the G2 utilizes the G1's trigger guard and foregrip, It has a redesigned magazine well for the use of STANAG magazines .

FAMAS FELIN
Error creating thumbnail: File missing FAMAS F1 Valorisé with SCROME J4 scope - 5.56x45mm
A FAMAS outfitted to be used in conjunction with the FELIN combat system. Most notable difference is the replacement of the integral carry handle with a flat-top receiver with a Picatinny rail for mounting optics. Note that one should not confuse the Famas Félin and Famas F1 Valorisé.
