The following firearms were used in Season 8 of the television series The X-Files.
Beretta 92FS pistol
Beretta 92FS pistols were commonly seen in the hands of police officers, sheriffs, a number of FBI agents and US military personnel. Seen as Agent Hamilton's sidearm in the lizard episode, season 8.
Browning Hi-Power
Used by the evil guy in Episode 8.17, "Empedocles."
SIG-Sauer P226
John Doggett (Robert Patrick) uses a SIG-Sauer P226 pistol. Several other FBI agents also use P226 pistols.
SIG-Sauer P228
Beginning with Season 2, Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson) started using a SIG-Sauer P228, which subsequently became her sidearm for the entire show (Season 3 notwithstanding, when she and Mulder both used Smith & Wesson 5906s). Alex Krycek (Nicholas Lea), Walter Skinner (Mitch Pileggi) and some of the other FBI Agents on the show also used the P228. Scully used a P228 from episode 2.05 "Duane Barry" until episode 3.01 "The Blessing Way", and then again from episode 6.01 "The Beginning". Monica Reyes also uses a SIG-Sauer P228 throughout her time on the show.
Glock 17
John Doggett is seen with a Glock 17 in a flashback in "Underneath"(S9E12).
