Vented rib revolver

I do not think this thing is a Smython, as firstly the shape of the cylinder latch is wrong for a Smith, but more definitively the rib on the barrel is wrong for a Python and it looks like it has a 5 round cylinder. The top of the rib is sloped, so my guess would be that it is a Riva Esterina Black Widow (sorry for crappy image, all that I can find):

Riva Esterina Black Widow - .22 LR

This is an Italian 5 shot .22 LR revolver with a 4" barrel. The rib, cylinder latch, cylinder capacity and grips all appear to match the revolver used in this film. --commando552 (talk) 08:10, 28 August 2014 (EDT)
