Remington 870
Remington 870 shotguns are used by Hatcher's (Christopher Walken ) men. Beck (Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson ) later wields two akimbo (one with wood furniture, one with synthetic) during the shootout at the end of the film, pumping the actions in various manners to chamber the guns.
Error creating thumbnail: File missing Remington 870 Police Magnum Riot Shotgun - 12 gauge.
Error creating thumbnail: File missing Hatcher's men firing Remington 870s at Beck.
Error creating thumbnail: File missing Beck holding one of the Remington 870s as the camera pans over it.
File:RundownRem870-3.jpg Beck fires the synthetic stock Remington 870 one-handed at Hatcher's men, note bullet impact to where he is aiming. In real life, the recoil tends to launch the pump back and cause even more recoil, but blanks don't produce enough "kick" to do this, making firing these shotguns easier in the film.
Error creating thumbnail: File missing Beck pumps the Remington 870s against a wooden crate, which wouldn't grab the pumps enough to properly chamber them. Likely they edited out any problems and kept rolling. Surely the weapons coordinator for the film was pleased to see how poorly these shotguns were treated. Note the scratches on the wooden pump.
File:RundownRem870-5.jpg Beck firing the wood furniture 870.
File:RundownRem870-6.jpg Reversed shot.
Error creating thumbnail: File missing Beck twirls the shotguns under his arms to pump the actions. While cool looking in the film, this is not as easy in real life (know from experiance).
Error creating thumbnail: File missing Beck then twirls the guns back to the ready position. Without turning the safeties on, the weight of the guns would cause both triggers to pull, firing the guns early. We never see him turn the safeties on so this is another cool but unlikely action.
Error creating thumbnail: File missing Beck holds the two shotguns together to pump the action.
Error creating thumbnail: File missing Beck shoulders the two shotguns together and fires. Talk about recoil!
Browning Automatic Rifle M1918A2
Browning Automatic Rifles are used by Hatcher's men throughout the film, despite their obsoletion to more modern assault rifles.
Error creating thumbnail: File missing Browning Automatic Rifle M1918A2 - .30-06.
Error creating thumbnail: File missing One of Hatcher's men with a Browning Automatic Rifle M1918A2 rifle slung over his back.
Error creating thumbnail: File missing Another one of Hatcher's men with a BAR.
Error creating thumbnail: File missing Beck tosses away a BAR after knocking out a thug with it.
Error creating thumbnail: File missing Beck flips up two floor boards to protect himself from a thug firing his BAR, as if a thin piece of wood would stop a .30-06 round at such a close range.
Error creating thumbnail: File missing One of Hatcher's men firing his BAR.
Error creating thumbnail: File missing Reversed shot.
Error creating thumbnail: File missing Also a reversed shot, but flipped proper.
Error creating thumbnail: File missing Beck briefly picks up a BAR but never fires it.
IMI Desert Eagle Mark VII
Hatcher (Christopher Walken ) uses a polished nickel plated IMI Desert Eagle Mark VII in .44 Magnum during the last scene in which he confronts Beck (Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson ), but is continually dissarmed and unable to fire it.

Heckler & Koch MG3
Heckler & Koch MG3s are seen mounted on various dune buggy's used by Hatcher's men.
Error creating thumbnail: File missing MG3 Machine Gun - 7.62x51mm NATO.
Error creating thumbnail: File missing A close up of a Heckler & Koch MG3 in the armory.
Error creating thumbnail: File missing A CGI close up of a round from the MG3 is seen, but inaccurately portrayed as a .223 round, despite the MG3 being chambered in 7.62x51mm NATO.
Error creating thumbnail: File missing Hatcher's second hand man Harvey (Jon Gries ) mans an MG3 mounted on a dune buggy.
Error creating thumbnail: File missing Another MG3 mounted on a dune buggy.
Error creating thumbnail: File missing One of Hatcher's men mans and MG3 in the town.
M14
Hatcher's men use scoped M14 Rifles during the final shootout in the town. These are semiautomatic M14As or M1As since they are missing the auto fire selector switch. Beck (Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson ) at one point takes one of these rifles and fires it one-handed, despite the 9lb weight.
Error creating thumbnail: File missing M14 rifle - 7.62x51mm NATO.
Error creating thumbnail: File missing Hatcher's guard fires his M14/M1A. This is a semi auto only rifle, note the empty space in the stock where the selector switch would be.
Error creating thumbnail: File missing Close up of the action cycling.
Error creating thumbnail: File missing A wounded thug reaches for his M14/M1A.
Error creating thumbnail: File missing FPS view of the M14/M1A after the thug chambers it.
Error creating thumbnail: File missing Beck catches the M14/M1A off of the thug after he is shot and uses it to shoot the Desert Eagle out of Hatcher's hand. Note where the rifle is aims to where the round hits.
Error creating thumbnail: File missing Beck holds the M14/M1A on Hatcher, with one hand.
Error creating thumbnail: File missing Another shot of Beck holding the M14/M1A.
SVD Dragunov
Hatcher's men use SVD Dragunov rifles to fire from the rooftops in the town. The angular, rather than curved shape of the magazine indicates that it is a Norinco NDM-86, a Chinese clone of the SVD that was chambered in .308 rather than the original 7.62x54R cartridge.
Error creating thumbnail: File missing SVD Dragunov sniper rifle - 7.62x54R.
Error creating thumbnail: File missing A sniper on the rooftop aims his SVD Dragunov.
Error creating thumbnail: File missing A sniper firing his SVD Dragunov.
Error creating thumbnail: File missing A sniper firing at Beck.
Error creating thumbnail: File missing A sniper firing his SVD.
Error creating thumbnail: File missing Closer shot of the SVD.
SKS
The Guerilla rebel fighters are seen armed with SKS rifles , as well as Hatcher's men in the town shootout.
Error creating thumbnail: File missing Russian SKS rifle with Blade bayonet - 7.62x39mm.
Error creating thumbnail: File missing A Guerilla chambers his SKS, which implies the rifle was preloaded and the bullets pressed down enough to allow the bolt to pass without chambering a round immediately as the design intends.
Error creating thumbnail: File missing A Guerilla with an SKS.
Error creating thumbnail: File missing Rather useless with the bolt locked back.
Error creating thumbnail: File missing Same problem with this Guerilla in the town.
Norinco SKS-D
Mariana (Rosario Dawson ) uses an Norinco SKS-D rifle, built to except detachable AK magazines, which are easier to aquire than the U.S. civilian market SKS magazines.
Error creating thumbnail: File missing Norinco SKS-D - 7.62x39mm.
Error creating thumbnail: File missing Mariana holding her Norinco SKS-D rifle. Dawson appears to know gun safety since she keeps her finger off the trigger.
Error creating thumbnail: File missing Mariana chambers her SKS-D.
Error creating thumbnail: File missing Beck takes the SKS-D from Mariana and unloads it after she tries to shoot Travis (Sean William Scott ).
Error creating thumbnail: File missing Here we see a 7.62x39mm round sticking vertically from the magazine. The mag is clearly an AK mag and not a detachable SKS magazine as evident by the lack of the elongated top.
Error creating thumbnail: File missing "I could always give her back the gun."
