High Noon (1952)
High Noon is the classic 1952 western starring Gary Cooper as a recently retired marshal of a small town who finds himself at odds with his pacifist wife and the town citizens when a killer is found to be arriving on the noon train to take revenge. The film was directed by Fred Zinnemann and would go on to receive Academy Awards for Best Actor and Best Editing. The film would be spawn a made for television sequel in 1980 and then a television remake in 2000. The themes of a single lawman facing down incredible odds would be seen in numerous films over the next 5 decades including Outland and Cop Land.

Single Action Army Artillery Model (5.5" barrel)
Marshal Will Kane (Gary Cooper) is seen carrying the Artillery model of the Single Action Army. Deputy Harvey Pell (Lloyd Bridges) also carries a SAA, but doesn't use it.
Single Action Army Quickdraw Model (4.75" barrel)
Members of the Miller gang are seen carrying the Quickdraw model. Frank Miller (Ian MacDonald) carries a nickel Quickdraw while his brother Ben carries one as well as an Artillery. Will's wife Amy (Grace Kelly) is also seen holding one.
Winchester 1873
Will is also seen checking a few of the Winchester Model 1873's in the sheriff's office.
