Mickey Spillane
Mickey Spillane was an American writer and actor most famous for creating the character of hard-boiled private detective Mike Hammer. He is one of the few authors to ever portray their creations onscreen, starring as Mike Hammer in the 1963 adaptation of his novel The Girl Hunters.
