Foyle's War is a British detective TV series that takes place during World War II. The main character is Detective Chief Superintendent Christopher Foyle (Michael Kitchen) who investigates various crimes that happens in the region of Hastings, Sussex. Four series of the 1st season take place in May–August 1940.

Revolvers

Webley revolers

Webley Revolvers are seen in hands of various characters, including one of the main characters, Detective Sergeant Paul Milner (Anthony Howell). They are used as weapons of murder in "The White Feather" (S1E2) and "A Lesson in Murder" (S1E3). Both Webley .38 Mk IV and Webley .455 Mk VI are used. It's not always possible to determine exactly what model is used.

Hispano Mk II

Two 20-mm Hispano Mk II auto guns are mounted on Spitfire fighter plane, piloted by Andrew Foyle (Julian Ovenden), in "Eagle Day" (S1E4). Two different planes appear in this episode (one is Mk. Vb and another one is Mk. IX), and both are original Spitfires, not replicas.
