RE

See, the BF: BC 2 is NOT the page to add gun information. If you have to add anything about those abbreviations, add them on the gun page but spare the game, movie pages as they should only contain information about how the guns appears in the respective media.--SB2296 16:32, 4 March 2010 (UTC)

Filenames

Please don't upload images using the default filename from Steam: we prefer filenames that identify the images (eg Payday2-USP-1.jpg). Also make sure to categorise your images by adding {{SS}} to the upload form. Evil Tim (talk) 18:01, 5 December 2013 (EST)

Tried to replace the HK USP iron sight image with one consistent with the other iron sight images on the page, but that didn't work at all. I'm so confused.

But yeah, for new images I 'll make sure to name them properly. I'm not sure that I understand that categorizing thing though. How do I format that?

The new version of the image would be seen after some time, or you can change the size of the thumbnail for 1 px (for example, from 400 to 401, and the new version would be seen immediately). To categorize the image, place [[Category:Screenshot]] or {{SS}}. To sign your posts, use ~~~~. Greg-Z (talk) 11:07, 6 December 2013 (EST)
You can't change the filename of an existing image except by moving it, I'll do that with the existing ones soon. To change the filename when uploading, change the name in the "filename" box (don't forget to put .jpg on the end, or it won't save). To add categories, put them in the empty text box that appears below the filename. Evil Tim (talk) 16:22, 6 December 2013 (EST)
