Talk:Les Misérables (2012)
Am mainly going from memory as the caps aren't particularly clear, but I think the muskets are Charlevilles, not Brown Besses. I think in the shot of Jackman reloading you are looking at the bottom of the front barrel band, which is stepped like on the Charleville with the hole for the ramrod in the middle of the step. Also note that the bayonet lug is on the bottom, whereas on the Brown Bess it was on the top (doubling as a sight). I seem to remember that there were one or two carbines seen among the revolutionaries as well, either 1877 Cavalry or 1876 Hussar carbines. --commando552 (talk) 05:51, 1 August 2013 (EDT)
- I got the Blu-Ray for my mom for Mothers Day, and I've been meaning to watch it anyway, so I'll take a look. --Funkychinaman (talk) 08:37, 7 November 2013 (EST)
- I don't have this on DVD or BD, but have seen it on TV recently and I think I saw both kinds of Charleville carbine (I think specifically Enjolras had a 1777 Dragoon carbine on the barricade at one point) along with Model An XIII flintlock pistols. --commando552 (talk) 08:45, 7 November 2013 (EST)
