Start Liquidation (Pristupit k likvidatsii) is a Soviet 1983 action movie directed by Boris Grigoryev. The story takes place in April 1945. The investigation of a murder in Moscow leads Militsia Colonel Ivan Danilov (Oleg Strizhenov) to a gang that acts in the western region of the USSR. Vadim Altunin (Vasili Lanovoy), a former pilot turned criminal, helps Danilov to liquidate the gang.

Soviet militsioneers carry PPSh-41 SMGs with drum magazines in several scenes of shootouts with Kruk's gang. Several Kruk's henchmen also are seen with PPSh-41s.
MP40
Many Kruk's henchmen carry MP40 SMGs. In one scene Capt. Nikitin (Mikhail Zhigalov) is armed with an MP40, captured from a bandit.
MP38
Several MP38s are also seen in hands of Kruk's henchmen.

Degtyaryov DP-27 machine guns are used by Soviet militioneers in several scenes of shootouts with Kruk's gang.

Visually modified PKMs stand for MG34 machine guns, used by Kruk's henchmen.

Hand Grenades
Unidentified hand grenade
In one scene Capt. Nikitin (Mikhail Zhigalov) uses a hand grenade against a machine gun of Kruk's gang. This grenade is seen very briefly.
