Some random observations from last night's (6/17) episodes for possible addition to the page:

- Tom Mason's Type 56 made a brief appearance when Weaver tried to get him to resume his position as XO.

- The LAW rocket appeared twice, first in Maggie's hands in the opening ambush, later used by Dai to destroy an alien ship's remote control system.

- Matt Mason's weapon of choice appears to be either a Mini 14 or an M2 carbine.

- Pope uses a pump action shotgun (I don't know what type, but it was fitted with an extended mag tube and a pistol grip with no buttstock) in the opening ambush. Anthony later threatens him with it. (Weaver and Hal also pull semiautomatic pistols on him during the confrontation.)

- Maggie appears to now be using either an M4A1 or Model 727, rather than the 733, as her weapon has a longer barrel with the M203 notch.

- One of Pope's "Berserkers" appeared to have a Minimi Para when they mounted up before the bridge crossing.

- Pope continues to carry a revolver, though (if I remember correctly) it appears to be a more modern weapon than the Single Action Army he carried last season.

- One of the fighters seen during the delaying action at the bridge appeared to have a Steyr TMP or similar machine pistol.

- The resistance's technicals are now fitted with what are said to be 20 mm cannons, complete with antiaircraft-type ring sights.

The rifle Weaver got out of the bag was an AKM, not Type 56. Mason changed from a Type 56-1 to an AKM in the first season so it's a safe bet that the rifle Weaver got out was his AKM as the Type 56-1 was lost. And can you please sign your posts. --cool-breeze 07:13, 20 June 2012 (CDT)
I think it is actually a Zastava M70, in the 3rd episode you can definitely see the 3 vents in the handguard and the grenade sight. --commando552 04:39, 25 June 2012 (CDT)

anthony's rifle: M1A?

browsing the page while viewing the season premiere -- i'm pretty sure anthony is carrying an M14, or at least something that's supposed to look like one. i brought the screenshot into an image editor and adjusted the toning, and sure enough, there's a selector switch just ahead of anthony's thumb. thoughts?

Also, all the rifles used by both Anthony and Tector (Ryan Robbins) have bayonet lugs, which I think makes them M14s. The M1As in the previous season didn't have the bayonet lugs. --commando552 06:46, 22 June 2012 (CDT)

G36C?

Are you sure that is a G36C? The barrel and handguard have the length of a G36K--Gunner5

Jimmy's Shotgun

What kind of shotgun was Jimmy using it had a night vision scope, suppressor built on it, and could fire Dragon Breath shotgun shell's? --Balin21 14:23 25 June 2012 (CDT)

From the shape of the pump and trigger guard I would say it is a Mossberg 500 series shotgun, but never got a good enough look to see if it had the safety catch on top to confirm. --commando552 14:45, 25 June 2012 (CDT)

And we have our first Barrett sighting

Looked like an older model M82A1, as it had the classic arrowhead-style muzzle brake. --guy incognito 01:18, 2 July 2012 (EDT)

Desert Eagle Sighting

In Molon Labe it looked as though Dai had his Desert Eagle from season one trained on the captured alien "fish head" when they first brought it back to the hospital. Did anyone else catch that/get a screen shot of it? -Jerkyman45

Charleston Armoury

When Pope and the Beserkers are inventorying the armoury in Charleston I found it interesting that Lee referred to a GAU-17/A Minigun rather than the usual 'minigun' designation. Since GAU is a USAF/USN designation it could show that Tector isn't the only former military member in the unit. --Charon68 11:41, 25 August 2012 (CDT)

- Another thing that made me wonder was the choice of ACU as their camo, it also seems lot more "white" than the ACU ive seen. surely woodland marpat would have been better? --Sike (talk) 07:34, 15 September 2012 (EDT)

ACU isn't a camouflage pattern, it's a uniform. Spartan198 (talk) 05:59, 7 November 2012 (EST)
That is correct. ACU is the uniform, and UCP is the camo pattern. A lot of the time camo patterns won't look quite right [in film] is because they usually purchase a 'copy' of sorts. Every camo pattern has a 'copy' that is out of spec. It's just the nature of business. Biggest example right now would be Crye's Multicam. --Gwhysow (talk) 19:53, 1 June 2013 (EDT)

Tom Mason's pistol

In the episode "Molon Labe" Tom Mason uses a pistol to shoot the overlord in the neck it looks like a 1911 variant can anyone identify?--Balin21 (talk) 13:47, 7 June 2013 (EDT)
