I wouldn't say the scope helps much with the ID, as you can pretty easily add scope mounts onto any lever action rifle. Also, I think Marlin rifles tend to have a barrel that is noticeably longer than the magazine tube, which isn't the case here. My guess would be a Winchester 1894 based on the barrel band and sight position. --commando552 (talk) 17:28, 4 June 2013 (EDT)
