Talk:Rambo: The Video Game
I am soooo gonna get this! (Even tho it will probably suck like most movie-based games)- bozitojugg3rn4ut (talk) 13:10, 10 April 2013 (EDT)
- Well, at least they've got the original voice tracks rather than going the 007 Legends route of having Carey Lowell voicing Pam Bouvier even though she was old enough to be the character's mother. Evil Tim (talk) 13:38, 10 April 2013 (EDT)
- I'm really excited as well. I just can't believe that they've released two Rocky games, but no one thought to do a Rambo FPS until now. --Funkychinaman (talk) 13:59, 10 April 2013 (EDT)
- I guess it might be the issue that Colonial Marines had that games have been stealing ideas from these movies for decades so everything would seem a bit old hat. Though I'm sure people wish that was the only problem with Colonial Marines. Evil Tim (talk) 14:13, 10 April 2013 (EDT)
- But they've been making Aliens games pretty consistently for the last two decades. The last Rambo game I can remember was an NES game. --Funkychinaman (talk) 14:45, 10 April 2013 (EDT)
- Although, I concede that the franchise may have been in flux due to rights issues, since Carolco went under in the mid-late nineties. --Funkychinaman (talk) 14:47, 10 April 2013 (EDT)

Attention to detail
I'm impressed by their attention to detail. Notice that Rambo is firing the M60 right handed, just like he did in First Blood, but he shoots the bow and arrow left handed, like he did in Rambo II. (I just noticed that Stallone always fires his guns right-handed, despite being left-handed. Odd.) --Funkychinaman (talk) 21:29, 10 April 2013 (EDT)
- I always assumed this was because the M60 and many other firearms eject to the right. Fired from the left the hot brass might burn his arms or chest, and he wasn't exactly wearing much in those scenes. I can't be the only one who has had a cartridge fall down their shirt at the range. It challenges your self-control.--MrMiracle (talk) 19:46, 11 April 2013 (EDT)
