M1911A1 ?

Throughout the film, Galbadon carries an M1911A1-styled pistol, but the grip confounds my ability to identify it.

Gabaldon with the holstered Colt.
The two above don't appear to be the same gun. --Funkychinaman (talk) 14:20, 11 April 2013 (EDT)
I considered that possiblity. Now I have to find two different pistols! Any clues? - Elzzupa (talk) 11:48, 11 April 2013 (PDT)

Gabaldon reacts to his buddy’s death.

Mauser?

M1903 Springfield? --Funkychinaman (talk) 14:28, 11 April 2013 (EDT)
I looked closely at the Springfield and I didn't have the confidence to identify it. The gouge didn't seem quite right. Buy hey, if you say so, it is good enough for me! - Elzzupa (talk) 11:52, 11 April 2013 (PDT)
I'm guessing based on the hump and the rear sights. --Funkychinaman (talk) 15:01, 11 April 2013 (EDT)

Definitely a Springfield. The scope looks like it's misaligned or offset as well. --Funkychinaman (talk) 15:28, 11 April 2013 (EDT)

Japanese gun

The gun, indentified as 122mm howitzer, looks more like 75mm type 41 mountain gun. Greg-Z (talk) 14:17, 11 April 2013 (EDT)

Works for me. - Elzzupa (talk) 11:17, 11 April 2013 (PDT)
