The Criminal Quartet (Kriminalnyy kvartet) is a 1989 Soviet crime movie directed by Aleksandr Muratov. The main characters of the movie are four old buddies: two militsiya (police) detectives, Capt. Marat Mukhanov and Lt. Pyotr Sarayev, Attorney investigator Semyon Portnoy and journalist Nikolai Larin.
