The M16 (SP1) rifle is used by both the Apes as well as by the mutants.

Model 1909 Colt Army Revolver - .45 LC. This model is stamped "Property of U.S. Government" under barrel and "M1909" on front bottom of grip strap. Grips not original - US issue bore plain uncheckered walnut.

The M1928A1 Thompson is used by both Apes and Mutants, notably the gorilla leader Aldo (Claude Akins).

The M1 Carbine is seen used by both the Apes and the Mutants in the final battle. A visually modified M1 Carbine was used in the first two films.

Madsen M50

The unmodified Madsen M50 submachine gun is seen carried by Caesar (Roddy McDowall), Virgil (Paul Williams), as well as their human assistant MacDonald (Austin Stoker) as they travel to the Forbidden City. A visually modified Madsen M50 was one of the futuristic weapons used by the apes in Beneath the Planet of the Apes.
