The following weapons were used in the television series Flashpoint:

Handguns

Luger P08

The hostage taker in the first episode shoots a woman in the back with a Luger P08 and holds another woman at gunpoint with it before being shot by Ed Lane's sniper rifle. The man's son also uses a Luger in the Season 1 finale to hold Lane up before he is killed by Braddock with his Remington 700PSS.

Juliana's sidearm is a Glock 26. This gun was likely chosen because Amy Jo Johnson's hands were too small to hold the full sized Glock 17 so the subcompact model was selected.

Smith & Wesson 5904

When a man becomes enraged that his daughter can't get a new heart, he draws a Smith & Wesson 5904 off a hospital guard and begins a standoff. He accidentally scores a non-fatal shot on an officer after less lethal is ordered to stop him when he reveals the safety is on, and then turns it off and hits an officer's vest.

In Season 1 episode 3, a Taurus Judge is used by drug dealer Sean Keenan (Alex Poch-Goldin). He calls it the "Jury", and mentions it "Takes 5 rounds, shotgun, single bore." It is actually a Taurus Judge firing the very slim .410 shotgun round and can also accept .45 LC rounds.

One is seen in "Clean Hands"(S2E3), used by Walter Volcek (Peter Outerbridge), the father of a victim of a serial killer to try get revenge. It should be noted that he racks the slide at least three times throughout the episode before he shoots it, and when he does it appears to fire full auto, though it might just have been full auto sound effects.

Ed was returning fire with bursts from his MP5. That's where the automatic sounds came from, if you listen close you can hear Volcek firing semi auto. --Crazycrankle 00:50, 24 October 2010 (UTC)

Unknown old fashion revolver

In Season 1, Episode 7, "He Knows His Brother", RJ Strachan (Tyler Hynes), uses an old revolver that according to the dialogue was carried by his great-grand father and his grandfather. So we can assume it's an old piece. Maybe a Single Action Army or something like that.

  • Not an SAA, I don't see an ejector piece.
  • From the looks of the first picture, it looks to me like a S&W model 3 revolver.
  • This series takes place in Canada and the father says that it was taken ashore at Juno beach on D-day, so what did the Canadians use as a sidearm in WWII? Webley?
  • The character of the father refers to the revolver being issued to a relative who proceeded to carry it up the Chilkoot Pass during the Klondike gold rush. This was well before the landing on Juno Beach so it's not a Webley.
  • The Smith & Wesson Model 10 was issued to Canadian infantry from 1939-1964. Might this be it?

Submachine Guns

Heckler & Koch MP5A3

Sgt. Gregory Parker regularly has two or more officers armed with H&K MP5A3s with tri-rails, Navy trigger groups, and forward grips at his side. For some reason SRU officers feel the need to grab the magazine even though they have perfectly good vertical foregrips (Actually I checked its only the one actor who does that, everyone else uses the foregrip). They also rarely feel the need to rest stock against shoulder, as they are often seen holding the stock a good 6 inches away from their body.

M4A1

Several officers use M4A1 carbine assault rifles as standard-issue weapons. Juliana uses one in the second episode to watch over a father with a gun in the hospital. It is fitted with a red-dot sight but when she looks through it, it incorrectly has a sniper reticule instead. By episode seven, just about all the main officers have used M4A1s. The props weapons used are not the similar Canadian-made Diemaco C8 carbine, which would be more appropriate for a Canadian SWAT team to use, since Diemaco (now Colt Canada) does not sell its weapons to civilian companies (including the armorers who worked on the show). Sam also uses a M4A1 in the Season 3 episode "The Other Lane".

Heckler & Koch G3

In season 2, episode 4, the son of the shooter in the first episode uses a Heckler & Koch G3 rifle (specific make unknown [i would say it´s a G3 SG1 because of the Bipod]) to snipe people from city hall. Braddock can identify this rifle by simply looking at the shell casing, because the "HK G3" and other CETME variants leave stripes on the shell casings, a feature caused by the fluted chamber.

Also at the range the sniper seem to have picked would have made his scope a very bad choice, despite the zoom in the scene isn't where he is supposed to be, it's too close for the sight to see his target that clearly. He was on the roof of city hall.
