The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011)
The following firearms were used in the 2011 film The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo:
SIG-Sauer P228
Martin Vanger (Stellan Skarsgård) can be seen with a SIG-Sauer P228. Lisbeth Salander (Rooney Mara) later takes the gun before pursuing him. In the book, Martin's pistol was an unidentified Glock model.
Hunting Rifle
A member of the searchparty can be seen walking through the woods with a hunting rifle in the flashback sequence.
Gun cabinet
There are three unidentifed firearms in Vanger's guncase.Seen briefly when Mikael Blomkvist (Daniel Craig) is searching Vanger's house. The one to the left could possibly be a milspec Swedish Mauser 96 (not implausible since the movie takes place in Sweden). The center rifle and the third rifle to the right both appear to be bolt action sporters.
