Leonid Alekseyevich Filatov (24 December 1946 – 26 October 2003) was a Soviet and Russian actor, director, poet, pamphleteer. His career as the actor began in 1969, and since then he appeared in numerous roles in the Moscow Taganka Theatre and on screen. His most notable roles were in such movies as Ekipazh (Air Crew), Grachi (The Grach Brothers), Iz zhizni nachalnika ugolovnogo rozyska (From the Life of a Chief of the Criminal Police), Zabytaya melodiya dlya fleyty (A Forgotten Tune for the Flute), Gorod Zero (Zero City). After a stroke in 1993 Filatov suffered severe illness and died in 2003, aged 56.
