I'm in love with the show and I need help
I came across this show and I like what I see already. But as always I need help to get this page up to its full potential. So anyone is free to edit, change, add screenshots to make this page better.
Ending Continuity Error - Pilot
At the end of the pilot episode Jim Caviezel tells the cop in the car that he had to shoot the cop in the trunk with his gun. During the shoot out he uses a Glock but when he tells the guy in the car that he used his gun he hands him the S&W. --Ram229 19:00, 29 September 2011 (CDT)
It may not be an error, he could have just been lying to the Cop. It fits his other actions. --Krel 18:31, 8 October 2011 (CDT)
- Be glad they got the correct sidearms for NYPD- Glock 19 and S&W 5946----JazzBlackBelt-- 23:37, 8 October 2011 (CDT)
P226 used by Lattimer
I don't think that is a P226, no takedown lever or decocker, no hammer. ----JazzBlackBelt-- 18:07, 8 October 2011 (CDT)
Looks like a Kahr to me in the screencap.

- That's what I thought at first, but the grip looks a bit large.----JazzBlackBelt-- 19:28, 8 October 2011 (CDT)
The Kahr T9 has a pretty long butt, due to its 8 shot magazine, and wood grips. That's what it looked like to me...

Unknown pistol
Sam's unknown pistol on the main page looks to be a Kahr K9.--Spades of Columbia 20:24, 8 October 2011 (CDT)
It is definitely a Kahr, almost impossible to tell the model though. The back plate on the slide is the give away. It could be a K9, K40, or a T9 even. There was also a series of guns Kahr designated the "E" series (for economy). They had steel frames as well as the K and T guns. Rwb1500
on a side note i do not believe that the Sig is a 556SBR because the 556 would take standard AR mags and not the clear ones like the 552 commandos have.--Spades of Columbia 20:31, 8 October 2011 (CDT)
- That rifle looks the same as the custom 553 in Salt. They both have a fixed hooded front sight wheras factory guns that lack fised rear sights have a folding front sight, they both have that stainless steel ring above the hinge for the stock (don't know what this is, but factory guns don't have them), and they have both had the B&T Rotex flash hider replaced with an M16 style flash hider. Also, they have the same armourer. --commando552 11:46, 9 October 2011 (CDT)

Auto pistol Reese uses?
In the third episode, "Mission Creep", when Sam is shooting at Reese and Joey, Reese pulls an auto pistol (probably a Glock 17 in full auto) and forces Sam to retreat. Can anyone else confirm this?
Hey dudes... that ain't HK416...
That's a Cohaire Arms CA415, you can see it clearly in the upper reciever. It says CA-415 MADE IN THE USA. Cohaire Arms is owned by the infamous Todd "Toad" Bailey, known for making sub-standard (read: utterly crappy) HK clones and AR-15s.
Unidentifieds
Reese's shotgun is a Ithaca 37 "Stakeout" with a folding stock, not a normal 37 model.
Finch's gun in "Flesh and Blood" is either a Beretta 84BB, an 84FS, or an 85F with a nickel plating and wood grips.
The sniper from "Number Crunch" is either an Accuracy International model or a Remington 700 on a AICS.
Fusco's back-up revolver from "Flesh and Blood" looks like the Ruger GP100 from "Blue Code".
Help to identify (s01e20)
And
the bottom two look like a Jericho 941 variant
Season 1 Episode 22 Pistol Fires Rifle Rounds
Does anyone have any idea about this. In Season 1 Episode 22 they talk about, I think it was, the Special Intelligence Activities Division using pistols chambered for rifle rounds. The pistols used by this black ops unit looked to be Glocks so I'm a bit confused. Could they be mistaking the FN 4.8x27mm in a Glock (unless they make that and I don't know about it)? Does anyone know about semi-auto pistols chambered for assault or battle rifle rounds, would it even be possible, pressure wise? Thanks --Rebusdi 12:39, 27 May 2012 (CDT)
- It would pretty much be impossible. Not even taking the pressure of full power rounds into account the geometry of it wouldn't work. The FN Five-seveN is chambered for the 5.7x28mm cartridge which has an overall length of about 1.6 inches, which is pretty much the longest round you can fit into a pistol grip and still be ergonomically viable. The shortest cartridge that I would call an assault rifle cartridge would be the 7.62x39mm, which is 2.2 inches. There is no way that you could have a pistol chambered in a full power rifle round and have it looking anything like a traditional semi auto pistol. There are "pistols" that exist chambered for full power rifle rounds, but they are either bolt actions or basically a carbine without a stock. I imagine what they meant was that the pistols were chambered in rifle calibres like the 5.7x28mm, which can use the same physical bullet as a 5.56x45mm but in a smaller case with less propellant. --commando552 15:50, 27 May 2012 (CDT)
- Just realised I conflated several different cartridges into a non-existant one. I am aware of the pistol/carbines you mention, like the AR-15 Patriot Pistol, but thank you for confirming what I thought, that it wouldn't be possible because of the size issue. They said in the show, something to the effect of, that the black ops chappies use these pistols because it negates kevlar, so I suppose they meant the PDW rounds of HK and FN. --Rebusdi 17:48, 27 May 2012 (CDT)
