weird poster

Wouldn't "Čtyřicet čtyři" be more correct? MoviePropMaster2008 20:24, 23 May 2012 (CDT)

If we were simply translating a number yes it would be more correct...but since this is a movie page we should have it as IMDB recognizes it to be...or we could call it "Aufstand wider den Tod" and be more correct then your original correct :)--Spades of Columbia 21:14, 23 May 2012 (CDT)

How so? What I wrote, if you say it out loud, is identical to the original title. It's just spelled differently on the actual POSTER. And what I wrote means "The Forty Four" not the number 44 or that how I understand it. What does "Rebellion against the Death" have to do with anything? This not a German movie, it is a Czechoslovakian one. What I wrote, when pronounced out loud, sounds exactly like the title. But I'm confused because the writing of the title (ON THE POSTER) looks like an English language based romanization of the title (i.e. spelling it out using English lettering). I'm asking our native Czech members if this is the case with this film. Unfortunately usually THEIR english is poor and all of their comments are done with their own version of Babelfish. Not a Mannlicher

This rifle is not a Steyr Mannlicher M1895. Note the bolt handle and the shape of the muzzle end. This is Mauser rifle, most likely German Gewehr 98 (full-lenght model).

98k is shorter then the rifle on the screenshot but is has the same shapes.
