Action B (Akce B)
Akce B (english: Action B) is Czechoslovakian action film from 1952. Two years after the Second World War with remains of Ukrainian Insurgent Army divisions called OUN, trying to get from Poland to the west through Slovakia to Germany. One large group leads Burlak (Miloslav Holub) and his faithful companion Ophelia (Vlasta Chramostová). To her disposal were mobilized a troops in Czechoslovakia National Security Corps (SNB) and Army. Their members are warned against possible encounter with the spies and collaborators bandits. Investigators of the National Security Corps (SNB) arrested spy between members of the Catholic clergy, who provide for OUN weapons and false documents. Also in the staff of the army penetrated the traitor, but thanks to the vigilance of his members revealed. Among Burlakem and his deputy Juzek Kuczerjavý (Jaroslav Mareš) conflict occurs due to inroads soldiers and civilians, in which there is a great loss. is by commander deprived of his office and shot after an argument. Burlak then tries to escape by stealth from the besieged, but fail and have to retreat back into the mountains. There are encounters a gamekeeper's lodge, where a young woman Maria (Antonie Hegerlíková) hides the wounded officer Lt. Málek (Rudolf Deyl) with the group soldiers. There will be the last fight. The troops is then crushed in a fight and a small group of survivors led by Burlak to surrender.
