I like your taste in firearms, particularly the M1911A1. I refer to it as "the grandfather of the self-loading pistol, yet it can still serve with the new ones today." A fine handgun indeed. I haven't heard of a .50 caliber version though, care to enlighten me? The closest thing to it is an AMT Automag III .50 AE pistol from what I know.

I wouldn't call the 1911 the "grandfather of the self loader pistols", but it's the most famous of them all, the Colt 1903 came before and the earliest self loader I know of would be the Mauser C-96 Excalibur01 01:28, 30 November 2008 (UTC)

Call of Duty: World at War's Thompson

The weapon has the M1928 Thompson's muzzle break, however it has the M1's sight. I've watched the gameplay video again, it just show "Thompson" so until we get more information about it, I just name it Thompson.

Fair enough. I saw the CoD Spawn figures had the 1928A1 config, and realized that they weren't concurrent with the games, so my mistake. It's a Thompson, nothing more.

They screwed up the 1911 pretty bad though, as they've done in every game.
